Our ESG and Sustainable Funds
In line with our sustainability goals, we manage only SFDR Article 6, 8, and 9 funds:
- Article 6 funds consider sustainability risks but do not promote ESG factors or pursue sustainability objectives.
- Article 8 funds promote environmental and/or social characteristics and invest in companies with sound governance. They consider at least one ESG factor (e.g., ESG rating, PAI metrics, shareholder engagement, or sustainable investments). Our Article 8 funds include:
- Article 9 funds are sustainable investment products with clear sustainability objectives, such as reducing carbon emissions. They differ from other fund types by prioritizing positive environmental and/or social impacts, with financial returns as a secondary objective. These funds:
- Invest exclusively in sustainable assets
- Apply all mandatory ESG factors and PAI indicators
- May align with the EU Taxonomy
- Must comply with the Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) principle
Only a small percentage of European funds meet Article 9 criteria (4.3% as of Q4 2024). We were the first in Hungary to launch approved Article 9 sustainable funds approved by the Hungarian Regulator:
All other funds we offer fall under SFDR Article 6 category.
